oodaalolly at Undiscovered SF
A Kickoff to Remember
As Bay Area weather is wont to do, the day started sunny, warm, and breezy shifted to chilly and brisk before finally settling on downright perfect once the sun went down. Unlike the temperature, the enthusiasm of all in attendance at the kickoff event to Undiscovered SF 2019 on July 20th never wavered - it was contagious and through the roof.
We’d like to thank the organizers, volunteers/staff (special shoutout to Mariah who must have walked a marathon that day), the other vendors, musical groups, and performers who all put in 100% to showcase the drive, talent, and creative passion of the Filipino community in the Bay Area and beyond.
A Smashing Success
From the moment Little Manilla Dance Collective colorfully kicked the day off to Jocelyn Enriquez (long live the Queen) closing the event to raucous cheers, the oodaalolly small batch chocolate booth was humming with activity, smiles, and laughter.
Luckily, our tent was fully staffed with boosters and friends ready to spread the word. Everyone in our booth had a wonderful time sharing information and samples of our chocolate. Starting from the right, thank you to creative designer Patricia Wong, food blogger and photographer Terry Chen, teacher and marketing pro Jenna Pascual, and writer/designer Jeremy Burnich who flew in from the East Coast specifically for the event.
Our special Philippines sourced cacao instills a much different character and taste than standard off-the-shelf commercial chocolate. We only use a few carefully sourced ingredients and combine them to create a memorable taste experience. There’s nothing like seeing someone’s eyes light up after they taste a piece of oodaalolly chocolate. And we saw that a lot! The rich flavor and taste are unlike anything many have experienced in a bar of chocolate.
We’re happy to say that two of our flavors sold completely out. People immediately began adding their names to our newsletter to be alerted the moment all our flavors are back in stock.
Once you’ve had a taste of oodaalolly you know it’s worth the wait.
See Us Again at Sunday Streets
Let’s continue this great momentum this August 18th from 11 to 4 at Sunday Streets. We’ll be teaming up with Shades of Sugar Bakeshop to present a special treat made with a very unique flavor of oodaalolly chocolate. What flavor might that be?
