On the other, the steadfast 70% bar, as rich and deep as an uncle who wears tweed and quotes Shakespeare. Together, they're an odd couple that somehow makes perfect sense, like tango dancers who stepped on each other's toes but ended up winning the competition. This February, Oodaalolly plays Cupid, but instead of arrows, we’re wielding bars. What bars, you ask? A Banana Ube Smoothie, which, for the uninitiated, sounds like something a vegan witch might brew under a full moon. It's this peculiar concoction that marries the humble banana with ube, a purple yam that's sneakily sweet and somehow tastes like what you'd get if a vanilla bean hugged a nut really tight. It's as if we’re trying to make purple the new taste of romance.

To accompany this smoothie, which is already auditioning for the next big Broadway hit in your mouth, we bring out the big guns: Dark Chocolate with Almonds and Sea Salt. It’s as if we asked the chocolate, “How could you possibly get any better?” and the chocolate, with a knowing smirk, said, “Let me introduce you to my friends, Almond and Sea Salt.” This chocolate is like that one aunt who travels the world and returns with mysterious gifts and even more mysterious stories. Red Riot Strawberry is a white chocolate (probably our last using conventional milk) with strawberry powder from Karen’s Naturals, and the bounce comes from popping candy! It melts in your mouth and bounces back!  It is guaranteed to make you giggle. 

It comes paired with our 60% Milk Chocolate bar. It doesn’t bounce, but it does rock.
