Oodaalolly And The MAP'D Project

Oodaalolly and The MAP’D Project announce Jeepney Sunsets—a capsule collection featuring illustrations by Arlene Basilio on a limited edition “Art Bar,” Oodaalolly’s ongoing initiative wherein we invite an artist to exhibit their work on a special edition chocolate bar.

Is “Jeepney Sunsets” just a description of a scene, the name of a band, or the title of their first single? It’s all those things and whatever else you can imagine.

Basilio created MAP’D as a platform for the nomadic, the wandering, purpose-driven soul with a unique story to tell.

“Here, you’re the creator, the captain, and you can think of us as your crewmates.”

Arlene’s piece is evocative and aspirational—a story open to interpretation with chapters as yet unwritten.

“When I look at this illustration,” notes Oodaalolly co-founder Jeremy Burnich, “I envision a P-Pop band—a bunch of badass ladies and know who they are, are proud of where they come from, and don’t care what you think about them one way or another.”

Take a close look at those ladies! This collaboration also features Oodaalolly’s first artist-designed logo! Not only is it on the box, but it’s on their clothing!

So, as a kind of “band merch,” those same shirts are available IRL, featuring Arlene’s Oodaaloly logo on the front and the MAP’D logo on the reverse.

And, of course, the keys to your Jeepney need to stand out, so we made some acrylic keychains to give that Jeepney Sunsets sass to your ride—jeepney or otherwise.

What About The Chocolate?

We never thought you’d ask! Just like Arlene’s illustration, the chocolate is one of a kind—lightly sweetened milk chocolate made with premium cacao from the Philippines. It also features intensely flavorful bites of pineapple and passionfruit inclusions.

Creamy Milk Chocolate and Pineapple + Passion fruit. Nothing else.

These mouth-watering chewy fruit bites are made of only two ingredients – sun-ripened organic pineapple and passion fruit. Grown on small farms in Ghana and produced using solar panels powered by the African sun.

For these unique ingredients, Oodaalolly tapped Mavuno Harvest, a company founded on empowering others through economic development, sustainable agriculture, and the idea that all humans are connected—principles entirely in alignment with Oodaalolly’s practices and Arlene’s vision for MAP’D.

Oodaalolly is extremely proud to have worked with Arlene on this Art Bar. It’s our way to showcase our pride in Filipino culture, artists, and spark imaginations.
