Give Jenna Kristina Pascual an OODAALOLLY Welcome!

Oodaalolly means joy, and its mission is to bring more smiles into the world by making the best-tasting Filipino chocolate that can be made. To aid in that mission, we asked Filipina-American laughter yoga entrepreneur Jenna Pascual to be our first Chief Laughter Officer. We are happy to announce that she has accepted.  

Jenna is Oodaalolly’s first Chief Laugher Officer (CLO and will ensure that each bar of Oodaalolly chocolate contains the maximum recommended daily amount of chuckling, chortling, guffawing, and giggling per serving. Additionally, Ms. Pascual will play a crucial role in the development of future chocolate products and marketing initiatives. An expert in the laughter field, she brings a lifetime of experience and years of training to Oodaalolly in her role as Chief Laughter Officer. 

About Ms. Pascual: Jenna is a Bay Area native who spent a decade working at Silicon Valley companies like Facebook and Box before she discovered laughter yoga. One laughter yoga class was all it took for her to decide that she wanted to teach it. She studied laughter yoga at the University of California San Francisco’s Osher Center and received her laughter yoga leader certification from Laughter Yoga University in 2016, honing her natural propensity for laughter into a tool for meditation. Ms. Pascual is also no stranger to traditional forms of yoga. In addition to her laughter training, she attained a highly respected Hatha Vinyasa teacher certification from School Yoga Institute in Lake Atitlan, Guatemala, and a Bhakti Flow teacher certification from Rusty Wells. In 2018, she left the tech industry to start her own laughter yoga business and is on a mission to spread more joy, positivity, and connection through her laughter classes. She will work concurrently with Oodaalolly as she continues to expand her yoga offerings.

Chocolate maker Hernan Lauber founded Oodaalolly Chocolate in 2017 in San Francisco, California. As a Filipino-American and adopted son of a Swiss chocolate maker with a long family history in the field, Hernan decided to follow in his father’s footsteps by blazing a new path blending the best of the two cultures of his upbringing. 

Oodaalolly focuses exclusively on sourcing ingredients from the Philippines. We source directly from small cacao co-ops in the southern Davao region. Using these hand-selected beans, we create a unique and delicious Philippine chocolate with Swiss technique smoothness that is both innovative and sustainable.
