A Tasting Experience For The Holidays


SAN FRANCISCO, California - Christmas is a celebration of love and an occasion that brings together loved ones near and far. Oodaalolly and Kasama Rum invite you to take part in a tasting experience featuring three hand-crafted chocolate bars made to pair exceptionally with Kasama rum and, most importantly, a gathering of friends and family.

Made with Philippine cacao and infused with Kasama Rum, the chocolates come in three tropical flavors: 70% Kasama infused cacao, milk chocolate with creamy coconut milk, and white chocolate with tangy pineapple chunks. Each chocolate was designed to highlight and enhance flavor connections in Kasama’s small-batch rum. For example, the white chocolate spotlights Kasama’s pineapple zest, adding liveliness and additional enjoyment.

These hand-made bars celebrate the Philippines right down to the mold pattern, which is inspired by the traditional weaves of the Mandaya people from the island of Mindanao. Christmas stockings are also part of the collection. Each is made in the Philippines by ANTHILL using hand-loomed fabrics as the focal material. Every piece goes through a slow and rigorous production process and is destined to be a family heirloom.

“We are so proud to partner with Oodaalolly to create a trio of rum-inspired chocolates,” says Kasama founder, Alexandra Dorda. “Additionally, a portion of each sale goes to Hospicio de San Jose, a charity near and dear to our hearts, which runs an orphanage, shelter for battered women, and community development center in Manila.”

This Christmas collection is infused with tropical flavors, warm vibes, and Filipino cheer. It is our hope that the experience becomes a fond memory for those able to take part, one that brings a wistful smile to your face for years to come.

In 2017 Hernan Lauber founded Oodaalolly in San Francisco, California. As a Filipino-American and son of a Swiss chocolate maker, Hernan decided to blaze a new path in his family’s chocolate heritage by blending the best of his upbringing's two cultures.

About Kasama Rum

Kasama Rum is the sunshine spirit. It is a product from second-generation spirits entrepreneur Alexandra Dorda. It is a small-batch, seven-year-old rum from the Philippines. Distilled from Noble sugarcane and aged in ex-bourbon American oak barrels, Kasama has a light, easy-to-sip taste with notes of pineapple, vanilla, and banana.

Kasama is on a mission to bring a youthful attitude to an old spirit.
