Jackfruit Milk Chocolate

 
 

This month we decided to make milk chocolate infused with jackfruit. We made this bar at the request of Lina, Jeremy’s mother-in-law, who loves langka (and who wouldn’t stop hinting that she’d be interested in a jackfruit milk chocolate). 

Two Batches - Similar, But Different

It’s been quite popular and we decided to make a second batch. The thing is, we used cacao from a different harvest, so it tastes slightly different. 

Instead of blending the bars, we thought it would be interesting to highlight the difference to show how much goes into making chocolate!

The second batch is much more peanut buttery, while the first has a brighter fruitiness. 

 
 

Both bars are tasty, and we expect to add a version of the flavor to our standard lineup next year.
